From Concept
Drawing, prototype, tooling, and mass production under one roof.
ODM Cooling Fan Development
Have an idea for a new cooling fan, fan kit, or fan assembly? Send us your application, product concept, target dimensions, required functions, and expected order quantity.
We take it from there: product design, engineering development, prototype review, tooling, pilot samples, and mass production. You stay in control of every technical decision along the way.
Each stage is reviewed with you before the next one starts, so you confirm the product structure, technical requirements, and production feasibility and estimated cost before committing to a larger investment.

Six Stages, All Under One Roof
From the first concept sketch to the packing line, every stage of your product runs inside our own factory. No outsourced PCB house, no third party tool shop, no chain of suppliers passing your drawings around.
That is why a structural change does not take three weeks to coordinate, and why the engineer who designed your housing is the one who signs off the pilot samples.
Product Idea & Feasibility Evaluation
Share with us your product idea, target application, and key requirements. We evaluate technical feasibility, possible structures and components, performance targets, development risks, and preliminary tooling and unit costs before recommending a practical development direction..
Industrial Design & Product Engineering
We design the complete product appearance and structure, including the enclosure, airflow path, fan selection, internal layout, mounting system, battery and PCB positioning, lighting, waterproofing, materials, and assembly method. 3D models and prototypes help verify size, fit, weight distribution, and usability.
PCB And Program Development
Based on the required functions, we develop the controller program and PCB, including fan-speed control, timers, temperature or sensor logic, buttons, displays, LED modes, battery charging and protection, alarms, and other customized functions. The PCB and firmware are tested together to ensure correct and stable operation..
Prototype Build & Product Validation
CNC and 3D printed appearance and functional prototypes are delivered to you to verify dimensions, weight, mounting, airflow, noise, runtime, charging, controls, temperature rise, waterproofing, and basic operation in your real installation. The design can be refined based on your field test and feedback.
Tooling, Compliance & Pilot Production
After prototype approval, molds, fixtures, component specifications, assembly procedures, packaging, and inspection standards are prepared. Required compliance testing is arranged, and a pilot batch validates the product before mass production.
Mass Production & Quality Control
Mass production follows the approved samples, drawings, and specifications. Components, assembly, functions, electrical performance, aging, appearance, accessories, and packaging are inspected, with quality inspection records maintained for batch traceability.
Mark What Is Fixed And What Is Still Open
Nothing has to be final at the start. What helps most is knowing which requirements are locked and which ones you are still weighing up, so we review the project against the right constraints and you avoid rework once tooling is committed.
A short description and whatever reference files you already have is a fine place to begin. We will come back with the next set of details worth confirming.
How We Develops The New Fan Product for You
A new fan product should not jump straight from an idea into a mold. We run the project in stages so the appearance, structure, function, and specification requirements get reviewed before the expensive commitments arrive.
Your exact path depends on the concept, the technical requirements, and how many parts have to be newly developed. Some projects skip a stage, others loop back through one twice.
Product Design
We start with where the product will be used, what it has to do, and how it goes in. From the agreed project scope we work through overall dimensions, product structure, airflow direction, mounting method, appearance, mounting method, power supply, controls, lighting, and accessories.
The result is a clear product 3D drawing containing the enclosure and all components in place before detailed engineering begins.
Engineering Development
Once you sign off on the design direction and functional requirements, we develop the controller program and PCB to manage fan speed, operating modes, timers, sensors, lighting, displays, charging, alarms, and other required functions. We also select and match the fan, battery, switches, sensors, LEDs, connectors, and other key components according to the required performance, dimensions, power consumption, reliability, and target cost. The PCB, program, and components are then tested together before complete prototype development.
Technical limitations, cost risks, performance conflicts, and production feasibility are reviewed before tooling.
Prototype Development
You will get a prototype or engineering sample in hand before tooling starts. You can check dimensions, installation fit, product structure, component arrangement, appearance, and basic function for your required application.
Prototype materials may differ from final production materials, so we clearly identify what can be approved at this stage and what must be confirmed with tooling samples.
Tooling And Pilot Samples
After the product design and prototype are approved, the required molds, fixtures, components, materials, surface finishes, and assembly procedures are prepared. The tooling scope, sample approval process, and modification terms are confirmed before tooling begins.
Pilot samples off the tooling are then checked for dimensions, assembly, appearance, function, performance, reliability, assembly efficiency, and packaging. Necessary adjustments will be completed before mass production.
Mass Production
Mass production begins after the complete production sample, drawings, bill of materials, firmware version, specifications, packaging, and quality requirements are approved.
Incoming components, assembly, PCB programming, control functions, airflow, noise, electrical performance, aging, appearance, accessories, and packaging are inspected according to the approved standard, helping repeat orders remain consistent with the confirmed sample.
Review and Approve Each Stage Before We Move Forward
Nothing moves forward until the details behind it have been reviewed with you. That gives you clear approval points across the whole project, and it is what keeps the project aligned, control changes early, and reduce the risk of redesign, tooling modifications, production delays, and unexpected costs.
Clear Approvals Keep Your Project Moving with Confidence
Every ODM project is divided into clear approval stages. Before moving forward, we present the relevant design details, technical solutions, costs, samples, and next steps for your review. You always know what has been confirmed and what comes next.
Each approval becomes a shared project reference, keeping product design, PCB development, tooling, pilot samples, and mass production aligned with your requirements.
Every approval you sign becomes the reference we build to. It is also what you point back to if a later sample does not match what was agreed.
Approval Point
Concept & Design Approval
Before prototype development, we present the complete product direction for your review, including its application, appearance, structure, dimensions, mounting method, airflow, power system, control functions, accessories, and development scope.
We also explain which existing components can be used, which parts require new development, and which details will be confirmed during later testing. This gives the project a clear and reliable foundation.
Approval Point
Prototype Approval
We prepare the prototype according to the agreed objectives. Depending on how it's built, you can check and confirm product size, installation fit, component arrangement, appearance, and basic operation for your application.
Our team clearly explains any differences between the prototype and final production materials, so you understand what can be approved immediately and what will be further verified with tooling samples.
Approval Point
Tooling Confirmation
Before tooling begins, we provide a written summary covering the parts to be tooled, mold scope, materials and finishes, quotation, schedule, sample process, acceptance criteria, and modification terms which we have agreed.
Where applicable, tool ownership, storage, maintenance, and future use are also documented. This gives you a clear understanding of what your investment includes before tooling starts.
Approval Point
Production Sample Approval
After all agreed corrections are completed, the approved production sample, drawings, firmware version, and inspection requirements become the quality reference for both initial and repeat orders.
Required corrections are completed before production release. Once approved, the production sample, drawings, bill of materials, firmware version, and inspection requirements become the reference for initial and repeat orders.
Stay Informed and In Control from Concept to Production
We proceed to each major stage only after the relevant details and deliverables have been reviewed with you. Our team keeps key decisions documented and communicates the next steps clearly, giving you confidence that the project, schedule, and investment remain aligned.
Share Your Idea—We’ll Help Define the Next Step
